Four first class teams have booked qualification for the semi final of the biggest Women’s football Preseason tournament in Nigeria, the second edition of the Betsy Obaseki Women Football tournament.
The semi finals matches will be played on Wednesday at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium. The cracker between two-time Nigeria Premiership champion, Nasarawa Amazons and rejuvenated Edo Queens of Benin will kick off at 3pm, while the interesting semi finals fixture between Delta Queens and FC Robo will be played at 6pm.
The FC Robo versus Delta Queens semi finals game is a repeat of the Premiership League title matches played two years ago at the Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State when the two teams had equal chances of winning the 2020/2021 Premiership title with the final games left to be played at the Practice Pitch of the Ijebu Ode Stadium.
