Alaba International Market, Ojo, Lagos State, has elected Chief Camillus Amajuoyi as the President of International Market Alaba Electronics (IMAE).
Until his election, Amajuoyi had served as the vice chairman of the market association. Stakeholders in the market described him as a very humble, honest, and transparent man, noting that he had worked tirelessly for the peace and progress of the market.
In his address, the immediate past president of the association, Evangelist Paulinus Ugochukwu, commended the electoral committee for the conduct of a very free and credible election.
He charged the new executive to ensure adequate protection of the interest of the association, urging them to improve on his record of performance by initiating programmes and policies that would be of benefit to the traders.
