ALX Enterprise has hosted a closed-door executive roundtable in Lagos, gathering senior business leaders and human resources executives to address practical strategies for artificial intelligence (AI) adoption, change management, and workforce readiness.
Themed: “How the Intelligent Enterprise Runs on AI and Smarter Talent,” the event convened executives from leading organisations across diverse sectors, including Boston Consulting Group (BCG), MTN, Union Bank, SeamlessHR, Aradel Holdings, Tetracore Energy, Norrenberger, Meristem, Mercurie, and CareerBuddy.
Ola Igwe, Chief of Staff and Operations at ALX Nigeria, opened the event before handing over to Ruby Igwe, Regional Director for West and Central Africa at ALX Enterprise, who led the afternoon’s sessions.

As AI reshapes operations, our focus is ensuring organisations don’t just adopt tools, but cultivate the talent and readiness needed to use them effectively. Ultimately, an intelligent enterprise combines technology with smarter talent to fuel sustainable growth,” said Igwe.
Igwe called on executives to define clear AI accountability, establish safeguards, invest in employee capabilities, and build the organisational trust needed to sustain momentum.
To move from theory to application, participants engaged in a hands-on strategy simulation facilitated by Oluwapelumi Thomas, Learning Manager at ALX West and Central Africa. Acting as an executive task force charged with turning an enterprise into an “AI-first” business within 12 months, attendees navigated real-world trade-offs between governance, data security, ROI, and employee buy-in.
Temitope Ekundayo, Sales and Partnerships Manager at ALX Enterprise, closed the presentations by detailing ALX’s four-stage transformation methodology: Diagnose, Design, Deliver, and Measure. This framework integrates dedicated program management, tailored learning pathways, and key performance tracking tied to client objectives.
Over the past six months, ALX Enterprise has trained over 3,000 corporate learners, including upskilling 147 energy sector employees in Nigeria and delivering 55 management cohorts for MTN Côte d’Ivoire.
Through this executive engagement, ALX Enterprise reaffirmed its commitment to supporting organisations across Africa as strategic partners in AI adoption, corporate training, leadership development, and talent acquisition.
