The Alakoto High School Old Students Association (AHSOSA) has renewed partnership with the Lagos State Government aimed at mentoring students and improving learning conditions at the Tolu School Complex in Ajeromi-Ifelodun.

Speaking ahead of the association’s grand reunion, AHSOSA President, Mr. Chukwudi Uche, emphasized the importance of mentorship, saying, “Our biggest responsibility is mentorship—showing these children that there is hope. Whatever the obstacles, they can be overcome.”

The alumni are focusing on reviving the school’s sporting culture and will submit a proposal on expanded mentorship and sports development programmes to the Ministry of Education.

Uche urged students to remain focused and disciplined, saying, “Education is your foundation—the sky won’t be your limit; it will be your starting point.”

The reunion, marking the school’s 44th anniversary, is expected to attract over 1,000 attendees, including alumni, students, teachers, and government officials.
