On worship, he said: “Worship can never be defined by tempo, neither can it be defined by the genre of a song, it can never be defined by anything before unless it starts as a lifestyle, a lifestyle of ascribing worth to a higher being than yourself, than myself. Worship, before it becomes a song, it is a lifestyle. Before it is found on the frets of a guitar, before it can be expressed on the keys on the keyboard, it is first a lifestyle.
“Beyond music is life. So you can’t worship who you know not, you can’t praise who you know not. It is from the point of intimate knowledge that you come to the point of intimate songs for the Lord.
“Someone can sing a song with so much fast tempo and it carries no weight in their lyrics. The level of intimacy with God and His word is found in your words, in your lyrics. So we are worshippers, not because we sing or we play the instrument, we are worshippers because we live a life of worship to our Lord and master, our God and savior, who gave a sacrifice for us all to be free in the spirit and live a life of righteousness, not by our works but by his finished work, and for that I am grateful.”
A prominent Nigerian contemporary gospel artiste, music producer, and multimedia entrepreneur, Omoregie was born in Benin City, Edo State, into a family of seven, began his musical journey in the church choir, where he mastered the drums and keyboards.
Today, he stands as a multifaceted leader in the global gospel community. As the founder of Victorysong Music and the Senior Pastor of Victoryfire Christian Centre, he blends spiritual ministry with creative innovation. His songs include, With Everything We Are, God of Miracles, Above All Names, Spirit Testimony Like You and Born to Win, among others. He has shared stages with gospel icons like Sinach and Victor Atenaga.
