The All4One Friends Club of Nigeria has installed Tochukwu Ezisi as its new mayor.
At the event, which took place in Lagos, Ezisi thanked the club members for the honour and pledged to work tirelessly to promote its objectives.
President of the club, Ifeanyi Epundu, explained that the occasion was a celebration of the club’s achievements and a showcase of its objectives, which are centered on love, unity, and support for one another.
He stated: “We believe that when our homes are functioning well, joy, peace, and celebration will become a step for progress in society. All members are here with their families. This is also an avenue for members and their families to familiarise themselves with others.
“We are contributors to nation-building and development in the country. Part of the ways we contribute to nation-building is to ensure that families of our members are good citizens, law abiding and are role models for our children, maintaining the fidelity of our marriages by being responsible husbands and fathers.”
Eloben Okafor, Chief Welfare Officer of the club, praised Ezisi’s leadership qualities and wished him well in his new role.
He said: “We are celebrating the end of a prosperous year and the well-deserved coronation of our founding father and the vice president. I wish him well, good health, prosperity, and every good thing in life.”
Chairman of the occasion, Darlington Nwabunike, thanked members for their unwavering commitment while assuring support for the new mayor to achieve his objectives.
He noted: “Distinguished guests, members, ladies and gentlemen, I am privileged to witness this momentous event, the coronation of the new mayor of this esteemed club.
“We celebrate the power of love, unity, and support that binds us together as a club and as a family. We celebrate the achievements of our members and look forward to a brighter future.
“Let us use this occasion to renew our commitment to the values of love, unity, and support that define us. Let us continue to be a beacon of hope and a source of inspiration to our communities.”
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Ben Amuta, Eze U.O.U Iriele, Kirian Ezisi, Mike Onuoha, Ikechukwu Nwobu, Emeka Okonkwo, Nonso Enekwechi, Chinedu Ezeofia, and Monday Akunna, amongst others.
