Post Service Football Club (PFC) alongside De Friend’s All Stars, has been billed to battle for premier prize of the ongoing Penafort Energy/ PFC All Stars tourney.
The maiden competition scheduled to enter final stage on Sunday, 26th of October, will see both teams battle for supremacy in Ojo, Lagos. nroute to final, host, PFC at the semifinal stage, defeated Sansiro All Stars by two goals to nil while De Friend’s All Stars grabbed their final ticket against Okoko All Stars via penalty shootout.
Having began the tourney with 24 teams, head, Local Organizing Committee, Chigozie Nwafor stated all is set for the duel while urging both teams to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship.
Stressing further, Nwafor applauded sponsor, Penafort Energy for their unending support and financial back-up which as seen the tourney emerged talk of the town. He however hinted doors will be open for more sponsors come nest edition.
“I must congratulates all teams who has made it to tomorrow’s final and I’m using this medium to urge them on the spirit of sportsmanship. I’ve been impress with the coordinating and the officiating and I can assure all similar thing will happen come the final day. I want to also applaud our sponsor for their unlimited support and financial back-up which they have tabled since day one. Nevertheless I’m assuring everyone more sponsor will be given chance come next edition. I wish all teams the very best of luck as they look forward to an evergreen final,’ he stated.
