All set for 2nd edition of Armed Forces, Police, Paramilitary Basketball championship

The eagerly awaited second edition of Nigerian Armed Forces, Police and the Paramilitary basketball championship is expected to begin to through March 20, 2024 in Abuja.

The championship, which organised under the office of the Paramilitary representative on the board of Nigeria Basketball Federation, Assistant Commandant, Victor Okoro, would see teams jostling for honour and glory, when the games tips-off, on Friday.

Speaking on the NBBF endorsed championship, the organisers commended the efforts of the Minister for Sports Development, Hon. John Enoh, for his commitment to reposition sporting activities, through the military and paramilitary agencies, which are renowned as big employers of sportsmen and women in the country.

The organisers disclosed further that beyond winning medals and trophies, the winner of the championship, would be represent Nigeria at the 2025 West African Security Basketball Championship.
