The recently published letter by the Lagos State Secretary of our party came as a shock to many of us. It became more concerning when people outside of our party were asking us “ what necessitated the suspension of Aeroland. We don’t believe that the state exco intended to make Aeroland popular but there goes the result of misguided decision posted.
Our concern arose from the fact that Chief Bode George and Aeroland engaged in mud slinging after the 2023 election. This resulted to counter suit against one another.
Suddenly the state secretary’s letter stating the suspension of Aeroland Ward Chairman by his Ward and later Aeroland himself was posted on the social media. Aeroland’s ward Executive came to the defense of their ward in a video conference. They said that they never suspended their chairman and Aeroland. The local government chairman came out with another video conference stating that it was the Local Government that suspended Aeroland’s ward Chairman and Aeroland. Aeroland himself said he had no problem with his ward or local government but Bode George who is masterminding the episode of confusion in Alimosho is the problem. And he had been very explicit about his quarrels with Bode George.
So could it be that Chief Bode George is using his influence and power to remove Aeroland from the party through the back door. Now Our Concerns :
Has the state executive become the instrument for use to settle vendetta? How can the state act on one side story? They claimed to have invented Aeroland twice and he didn’t show up. Aeroland claimed that that there was no such invitation received by him. We hope that the exco saw the proof of service before their decision. Did the exco constitute a fact finding committee? The report should have been published by now.

There are many groups in Alimosho, we hope efforts were made to reach them in other to get to the root of matter. We are one of those groups and we were not invited. We want to make it clear that we joined PDP as members since 1999. We are not happy with what our party has become in the recent time. We have been doing our utmost best to rejuvenate the party by making efforts to recruit new members into the party. Our hearts are broken since this story was published. We have been answering questions from people in respect of this development.
Our efforts are retarded not by our own making but by selfish leaders who are less concern about the party. They should have been mindful of the consequences of this decision and their actions. It would not have caused any harm to respect the rule of law and do the right things . That would have saved the party and Alimosho Local Government this embarrassment. What is the price for this mistake? No one won any trophy in all this. The case in court is still there. Is this case the only one in court against the party?
Would the state executive decision not be ratified by the National Executive before it takes effect ?
What exactly is the case before the State Executive? You couldn’t have suspended Aeroland for not showing up upon your invitation. You found him guilty of the matter before you when he did not come to defend himself. What is the case before you? What is the reason for the suspension of Aeroland’s Ward Chairman? What were the local government Chairman’s reasons for suspending Aeroland’s Ward Chairman? The party is rebranding again and it has forsaken impunity and reckless disregard for the rule of law. Our dear state executive members should we count on your leadership to sail this ship to the harbor? We are all at your mercy, this ship can still win the battle in 2027. But PDP members across the state are worried about the Captain and his lieutenants’ ability to deliver their promises to the people.
In other words, the Alimosho PDP progressive here stand to maintain our neutrality, while we clamour for peace among the warring factions in Alimosho and Lagos PDP in general. We want to restate out stand that Deacon Segun Adewale of the ex officio member of southwest,Alh. Isiaka Shodiya of LGA chairman Alimosho and mr.kenneth of ward m1 chairman Alimosho LGA remains part and parcel of our dear party PDP. We are few in this party now, a stunch member of our party have decamp to either APC or LP here we are making suspension and counter suspension without any mobilization drive , the Alimosho progressive was in dismay with the action of hon. Soji Orioye’s action towards his quick affirmations of the suspension letter of Deacon Segun Adewale without thorough investigation from other members of the party. The Alimosho progressive hereby call for decorum, peace and unity among our fellow party men and women within Alimosho LGA and Lagos PDP
In conclusion, We the Alimosho PDP progressive also seized this medium to implore Deacon Segun Adewale to stop and desist from hunting for the arrest of party members and allow peace to reign We urge all those that have been affected to please calm down for the unity , peace, and progress of our dear party PDP.
