Senator representing Edo North, Francis Alimikhena, has condemned Friday’s attack on the convoy of the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman, which led to the death of seven persons including some security details attached to him and other civilians.

In a statement by his media aide, Benjamin Atu, the lawmaker called on security agencies to sanitise the roads and intensify efforts to urgently bring perpetrators of the dastardly act to justice

Alimikhena condoled with the cleric and families of victims of the attack, even as he prayed God to grant the souls of the departed eternal rest and comfort their families.

He assured residents of Edo North that more pragmatic efforts would be made to secure the zone and make it more peaceful.
