Benue State Governor Rev. Fr Hyacinth Alia has congratulated President Bola Tinubu for emerging once again as the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general elections, describing the victory as well deserved.
Alia stated this in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, and made available to newsmen in Makurdi on Sunday.
He equally extended warm congratulations to all those who emerged victorious as APC candidates and flag bearers across the country at the primary elections conducted by the party.
He stated that their emergence is a reflection of the confidence reposed in them by party faithful and stakeholders.

Governor Alia particularly appreciated the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC, led by Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, for providing the needed purposeful leadership, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere and organising transparent and successful primaries across the federation.
He emphasised that the smooth conduct of the exercise clearly demonstrates the growing strength, internal democracy and unity within the APC family.
He expressed confidence that the APC will continue to wax stronger and remain committed to delivering purposeful leadership, good governance and sustainable development to Nigerians.
He wished all the party’s candidates success as they prepare for the 2027 general elections.
