Founder of Chams Holding Company Plc, Sir Demola Aladekomo, will chair the second edition of the QEDNG Creative Powerhouse Summit on August 11 in Lagos.
The summit is expected to bring together policymakers, investors, business leaders and creative professionals with a view to charting a new course for Nigeria’s creative and cultural industries.
The programme, organised by Mighty Media Plus Network Limited, publishers of QEDNG, will hold at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, with the theme, ‘Creativity, Culture and Nigeria’s Next Chapter’.
Discussions will focus on strengthening the creative economy through improved policies, institutional support and private investment across music, film and television, fashion and design, gaming, publishing, literature, content creation and technology innovation.
Announcing Aladekomo as chairman, QEDNG Publisher and convener of the summit, Olumide Iyanda, described the technology entrepreneur as an ideal choice, citing his decades-long record in business, innovation and institution building.
“Sir Demola Aladekomo has spent decades building businesses, championing innovation and supporting institution building. His experience will add real value to the conversations we want to have about the future of Nigeria’s creative economy,” Iyanda said.
Accepting the invitation, Aladekomo described the summit’s theme as timely and commended QEDNG for creating a platform for meaningful conversations about the future of Nigeria’s creative economy.
