Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Eno has welcomed Hilda Baci, a Guinness World Record holder in cooking, and praised her adventurous spirit in the catering industry, which has played a significant role in her record-breaking accomplishments.
Eno, while receiving the star chef at Government House, Uyo, noted that Baci’s success story demonstrated that determination and courage could enable individuals to break barriers and achieve remarkable feats.
He also commended Baci for making Akwa Ibom State proud through her cooking exploits and urged her to continue to fly the state’s flag higher.
“You have made us proud in this state. You have made the world to know that determination and courage can help individuals to break barriers and achieve remarkable feats.”

Earlier, the celebrated chef, an indigene of Nsit Ubium Local Government Area of the state, also lauded Governor Umo Eno for the pace of infrastructural development, peaceful atmosphere and investment opportunities in the state under his administration.
Baci, during interaction with journalists at Government House shortly after her meeting with Governor Eno, said the governor’s vision and leadership were amazing and beautiful.

She expressed delight at the world-class facilities at the Victor Attah International Airport, saying that the infrastructure was first-rate and impressive.
Baci noted the hospitality and industrious nature of Akwa Ibom people and promised to partner with relevant stakeholders where necessary to further support the state’s development.
The Guinness World Record holder urged tourists and investors to visit Akwa Ibom to explore its environmental, recreational, hospitality and other investment opportunities, which, according to her, could help businesses maximise their potential.
Baci urged the people of the state to continue to promote love, unity and peace as a means of attracting sustainable development.
