President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio has called on the Muslim faithful to use the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to pray for the unity of the country.
He said this in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, on Sunday.
While felicitating the Muslim Ummah, he said, “As you celebrate the end of Ramadan and mark the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, I send you my warmest felicitations on behalf of my family, constituents, the 10th Senate, and the entire National Assembly.
