Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has shuffled the leadership composition of some committees to realign them to responsibilities within the upper chamber.
A significant change is the reconstitution of the Senate Committee on National Security and Intelligence, which is now to be chaired by Yahaya Abdullahi. Until the reshuffle, Abdullahi led the Committee on National Planning.
In a related adjustment, Mustafa Musa has been named the new chairman of the Senate Committee on National Planning.
