The award shelf of gospel music star, Aity Dennis was bolstered recently with the Lifetime Achievement Award given to her by Akwa Ibom State Association of Nigeria (AKISAN), USA.
The honour, which was done to the musician during the AKISAN convention held in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, was in recognition of her contribution to the cultural heritage of Akwa Ibom State, and the impact of her music which spans over two decades.
The convention, which featured intellectual discourse, business and cultural engagements, provided a fitting platform for the high-ranking gospel music ambassador to lead the audience in song of praise.
The AKISAN convention show was a pleasant stop in Aity’s summer tour of the United States, which began in July with Celebrating Jesus Concert in Houston. Aity also engaged American gospel music devotees at Adore Concert in Houston and at African Christian Fellowship. The gospel crooner jetted to New York last week where her song, You Blow My Mind was adopted as the theme song for the New York Festival of Praise.
Aity’s one-month tour of US cities ended with loads of testimonies from her fans and audiences. Meanwhile, the artiste has concluded arrangements to release a new music video on her arrival in Nigeria.
