Ondo Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Minister of State for Transportation, Ademola Adegoroye, traditional rulers among other dignitaries, will tomorrow commission a 50-bed multi-special hospital and diagnostics centre in the state capital, Akure.
The hospital, billed to be named, Deborah Multi-Special Hospital and Diagnostic Centre, will be commissioned under the chairmanship of former director general, Nigeria Centre for Disease control (NCDC), Abdulsalami Nasidi.
According to the directorate and management of the centre, Akeredolu, alongside The Olowo of Owo, Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III and the Oloba of Oba-Ile, Agunbiade Otutubiosun III, will be special guest of honour.
Speaking ahead of the epoch-making event, Chief Executive Officer/Founder of the centre, Remilekun Mulikat Ibidapo, said the urge to make an effective contribution to health care inspired her decision to build the hospital in Akure.
“The concept genuinely started with my curiosity and my passion for my profession. As an American trained practicing nurse in New Jersey, I see this initiative as a means of giving back to my society, showing love to my race and people,” Ibidapo said.
