Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has commiserated with the family of the late sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in the state Mr. Vincent Jack over his sudden death.

The governor in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Segun Ajiboye, described the late Sector Commander as ‘a dedicated and committed officer’ who was diligent in the discharge of his duties.

Jack was said to have died in a Lagos hospital after a brief illness.

The news of his death was broken, on Thursday, at the state command headquarters of the FRSC, in Akure.

Governor Akeredolu in his condolence message urged officers of the FRSC in the state to take solace in the good life lived by the late officer.

He described Jack as a disciplined and dutiful officer who went about his jobs with diligence and commitment.

Also, the governor expressed the belief that the late Jack will be remembered for the high sense of discipline he instilled in the men and officers of the sector under him.

He said the deceased provided needed leadership for men and officers of the state’s sector command, adding that “this will continue to stand him out as a leader who led by examples.”

The Governor, while praying for the repose of Jack’s soul, also prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
