Federal lawmaker Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has emerged as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Oluyole Federal Constituency following the party’s primary election.

According to a statement issued by her media team, the primary election was conducted under strict monitoring and in compliance with the guidelines of the APC, attracting a large turnout of delegates and party supporters across the constituency.

The statement noted that despite alleged attempts by opposition elements to disrupt the exercise and create tension, party members remained peaceful and committed to the democratic process.

It added that security agencies and party officials intervened promptly to maintain order, allowing the exercise to proceed without intimidation or violence.

Speaking after being declared winner, Akande-Sadipe thanked delegates, party leaders and supporters for what she described as their confidence in her leadership and representation.

She said the victory reflected the collective will of party loyalists and residents of Oluyole Federal Constituency who, according to her, remained committed to progress and continuity.

“This victory belongs to the people of Oluyole who have continued to stand firmly for progress, continuity, and quality representation. I deeply appreciate the confidence reposed in me and assure our people that I will continue to work tirelessly for their welfare and development,” she stated.

The federal lawmaker also commended the leadership of the APC for ensuring what she described as a transparent and credible primary process.

She further called on party members to remain united and focused ahead of the general elections.

Akande-Sadipe reaffirmed her commitment to sustaining empowerment programmes, infrastructural development and other people-oriented initiatives across Oluyole Federal Constituency.
