Ajax hands Bassey N0 33 jersey

Through their official website, Dutch champion, Ajax Amsterdam has confirmed their full list of squad numbers for the first team players ahead of their opening Eredivisie match.

Nigeria international, Calvin Bassey will wear the number 33 at the back of his jersey in 2022-2023.

Signed from Glasgow Rangers last month for a Nigerian transfer record for a defender, Bassey wore the squad number when he made his competitive debut for Ajax last weekend against PSV Eindhoven.
