Nigeria Boxing Iron lady, and the CEO, E. Francis Aiyegbeni Boxing Promotion has bagged the humanitarian award of the recently organised 2024 Fight Gist Media Award.
The promoter, though not present at the event held inside the indoor sports hall of National Institute of Sports (NIS), Surulere, Lagos was recognised for her immense contributions to the well-being of others. Not leaving behind her support and commitment in providing hopes and opportunities to Nigeria Boxing and boxers.
The promoter’s contributions include but not limited to the backing of UBO defending champion at the African light heavyweight category, Rasheed Idowu who recently defeated his Egyptian opponent, Ahmed Swedy at the bout tagged “ Chaos in the Ring” on the 14th of April at the Balmoral Tenth, Federal Palace hotel, VI, Lagos.
Boxing enthusiasts were full of praise for the boxing guru, who took after her late dad, a boxing promoter himself, Chief Francis Aiyegbeni.
