The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, has appointed eight new permanent secretaries for the state civil service.
Head of Civil Service of the state, Elder Effiong E. Essien disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday, October 10.
The new permanent secretaries are Roseline A. Mfon, Okon Effiong Tom, Bassey James Ekanem, Rosemary Aniekan Ubia, and Rita Sunday Akpan-Essien.
Others are Aniekan Ubong Akpan, Eno Ime Akpan, and Doris Tom Ikpuho.
The Head of Service disclosed that the swearing-in ceremonies of the new appointees would be performed by 4 pm on Monday, October 14, at the Exco Chamber, Government House, Uyo.
