Agribusiness company trains, empowers 50 women in Ondo

An agribusiness industry, Noble-Eagle has trained and empowered over 50 women drawn from different parts of Ondo State.

The training and empowerment were part of the company’s corporate social responsibility.

Tagged, “Project Nourish Africa,” organisers of the event trained the women in soap-making skills to drive entrepreneurship and economic independence.

They were also trained in business management, skills for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), packaging, branding and market-readiness.

The Managing Director of Noble-Eagle Industries, Ademola Atolagbe explained that the skill acquisition training was put in place to drive entrepreneurship and economic independence.

He explained that, “as part of the Project Nourish Africa, the programme equips women with skills, business knowledge and market readiness to contribute to Nigeria’s economy.”

According to Atolagbe, the initiative was designed to equip women with practical skills that will enable them achieve financial independence, create sustainable businesses and drive socio-economic development.

He disclosed that the industry focuses on investing in communities, empowering individuals and fostering economic opportunities that lead to lasting change.

He said: “Our goal is to empower women in remote areas to become entrepreneurs, driving growth in Nigeria’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector.
