Fresh agitation has continued to trail the disrupted APC House of Representatives primary election in Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency, as party members and stakeholders raise concerns over alleged irregularities and fraud in the conduct of the exercise.

The primary, which ended abruptly following disagreements among party officials and delegates, has continued to generate tension, with supporters of various aspirants accusing one another of manipulation and lack of transparency.

Party sources disclosed that stakeholders have commenced fresh consultations aimed at resolving the crisis, including calls for the House of Representatives ticket to be zoned to Ebute Metta West to address allegations of political marginalisation.

Some APC leaders believe zoning the ticket to Ebute Metta West may calm aggrieved members and strengthen unity within the party, with loyalists of President Bola Tinubu said to be closely monitoring developments.

Supporters of Prince Abdulhakeem Omolaja Animashahun from Ebute Metta West have meanwhile continued grassroots consultations, insisting that only a fair and inclusive arrangement can end the lingering crisis within the Lagos Mainland APC.
