… Wins three medals for Bayelsa
Olaana Onyejianya, a grand daughter of renowned Constitution lawyer, Olisa Agbakoba (SAN), representing Bayelsa State at the ongoing National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta has sent tongues wagging with her sterling performance.
She won all the shades of medals at the Games: gold in 100m backstroke, silver in 50m backstroke and bronze in mixed medley.
She is at the games with her mother, Berveley Agbakoba-Onyejianya, a sports lawyer, policy adviser and football club owner, who is her manager and chaperone.
She started swimming at age 6 with the full support of her parents and grand grandparents and had been training under the stable of Team Bayelsa in the past four years.
