Africa Fashion Week Nigeria held in Lagos at the twilight of December was a success. It has grown beyond being a fashion event to become  but become a movement, a brand that bridges the gap between creativity and opportunity, thereby empowering designers and creatives to turn their passion into a career.

The visionary, Olori Ronke Ademiluyi Ogunwusi, informed that this year alone, the Africa Fashion Week London and the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria have directly and indirectly created jobs for over 500 young Nigerians working on both platforms. And in the process built a huge fashion industry value chain, especially the African fashion industry. It includes designers, tailors, fabric makers, artisans, beaders, makeup artists, hair stylists, fashion stylists, content creators, photographers, videographers, designers and models.

The two-day event had on runway designs from:

Adire Oodua, Black Adudu, Desire Lagos, Gene by Adejoke, House of Lunnetes, Iffizi, Influencer collection, Kwara Heritage collections, Sarah Ajayi and LLC Boxers, among others.
