As part of the birthday celebrations of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, recognition awards were given out during Black History Month in the United Kingdom.
This honour was bestowed on individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service, dedication and excellence in their fields, reflecting the values of the African continent.
In celebration of Black History Month, the organisers said, “We are proud to present this award at Africa Fashion Week London, a vibrant showcase of African culture, fashion and creativity.
“This award is a symbol of the Ooni’s appreciation for outstanding achievements and a testament to the recipient’s hard work and commitment to our community.”
