A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, popularly known as Mama APC, has dumped the party for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Sen Nwaogu, Abia Central Senatorial District aspirant in the just concluded party primaries, said her decision to dump APC was as a result of what she described as the “shenanigans” witnessed in the just concluded APC primaries in the state.

Speaking on the phone, the former House of Reps member confirmed her resignation from the APC and membership of the NDC. She also confirmed her participation in the NDC primaries as an aspirant for the Abia Central Senatorial District.
She expressed optimism she would secure the ticket of the party after the primaries.
