Afrocott Entertainment Limited has officially announced the upcoming EP release of its first signed artist, EB Lawal, marking a major milestone for the entertainment company’s talent development vision.
The announcement was made by the Chief Executive Officer of Afrocott Entertainment Limited, Mr. Felix Eyo, popularly known as i-Mortal, who revealed in 2024 that the company had begun an extensive search for fresh musical talent across Nigeria and beyond.
According to i-Mortal, the journey to discovering EB Lawal took nearly two years of scouting, auditions, and evaluations across the United Kingdom, Europe, and several African countries before the company finally identified the young artist as a standout talent.
Speaking on the development, i-Mortal expressed confidence in the artist’s potential and readiness for the music industry.

“We took our time with this process because we wanted an artist with originality, discipline, and long-term potential. Lawal has gone through intensive evaluation and preparation, and we believe he is ready to be introduced to the world through this EP,” he said.
The entertainment executive noted that the project represents more than just a music release, describing it as part of a broader commitment to discovering and nurturing young creatives with global potential.
He further disclosed that Afrocott Entertainment plans to sign more emerging talents in the coming years as part of its long-term expansion strategy within the entertainment industry.
“We are building a platform that gives talented young people an opportunity to grow professionally and reach international audiences. This is only the beginning for Afrocott Entertainment,” he added.
Known for his work as an event manager, entertainment consultant, and international show promoter, i-Mortal has remained active in both the Nigerian and global entertainment space, helping to connect African entertainment with wider international markets.
