Nigerian musician Ahmed Ololade, well known as Asake, has announced his departure from YBNL Nation.
There were rumours that Asake had split up with Olamide’s YBNL in a dramatic manner.
Asake revealed his departure from YBNL by releasing his latest single, ‘Why Love’, on his label, Giran Republic.

The artist earlier paid tribute to Olamide in his first song of the year, ‘Military,’ quelling rumours of a schism between the two.
Asake joined YBNL Nation in February 2022. In July 2022, he struck a distribution agreement with Empire.
Despite his departure from YBNL, Asake retains his contract with Empire.
