Afriland Properties Plc (Afriland) has announced the appointment of Azubike Emodi as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Uzo Oshogwe, who has led the company since its inception in 2013 and was recently named CEO of Transcorp Hotels Plc.
Emodi, a professional with over 20 years of experience across financial services, real estate development, and strategic planning, is expected to drive Afriland’s vision and leverage its extensive land bank to execute major residential and commercial projects. His career includes leadership roles at the Royal Bank of Canada, VFD Group, Anchoria Asset Management, and most recently, Herel Global, where he spearheaded high-impact financial and real estate initiatives.
