Afrikanwatch appoints Amb. Okegbue, Amachree, Obafemi, others into its Advisory Council

The Managing Director/Chief Executive officer, Combatant Guards limited, and a foremost philanthropist, and security expert, Amb. Chief (Dr) Nzeribe Okegbue, JP, has been appointed as Chairman, Afrikanwatch Network Advisory Council (AAC), alongside other distinguished personalities, whose impacts and contributions to the news outfit cannot be underestimated. They include, Mr. Dennis Amachree, Ex-DSS director, Prof. Solomon Akinboye, former Dean, School of Postgraduate studies, University of Lagos, Prof. Andrew Obafemi, former President, Nigerian Cartographic Association (NCA), University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Dr. Kabir Adamu, Managing Director, Beacon Consulting limited, Abuja, Engr. (Dr) Felicia Agubata, Vice President, Corporate Service board, the Nigerian Society of Engineers, and Dr. (Mrs) Obiageli Modebeli, University of Lagos, who was formerly, the technical adviser to the media outfit.

Meanwhile, Chidera Eke, head of News, strategy/Communications is the Secretary of the council. In a statement released by the management of the news oufit, through its President and Editor-in-Chief, Mark Orgu, said, that the choices of these Nigerians is as a result of their consistent promotion and support given to the news outfit for years, irrespective of their busy schedules. He therefore congratulate them while believing, with their experience and exposures, they will assist the media outfit to grow better especially in the area of expansion and human capacity building while providing opportunities.
