African Games: NTF invites 24 athletes to camp

The Nigeria Taekwondo Federation (NTF) has invited 24 athletes to camp ahead of the 13th African Games in Ghana, www.aclsports.com reports.

The 13th African Games begins on March 8th and end on March 23rd in Accra, Ghana.

2014 Commonwealth Games champion, Josephine Esuku; 2019 African Games gold medallist, Chinazum Nwosu; 2023 Grand Prix bronze medallist, Elizabeth Anyanacho and 2015 All Africa Games gold medallist, Uzoamaka Otuadima top the list of 11 women athletes invited to camp in Abuja.

2019 African Games bronze medallist, Benjamin Okuomose; multiple national champions, Ifeoluwa Ajayi, Shola Olowookere, Nzelu Chukwudi, Paul Kolade and Peter Itiku are part of the 13-man list of the men athletes.

The athletes are currently camped in Abuja and undergoing training at the Velodrome, Package A of the Moshood Abiola Stadium.
