Onuachu remarked that the Super Eagles will try to win the AFCON title in Morocco after finishing second in the last edition.

In his pre-match interview, the Trabzonspor attacker emphasised Nigeria’s status as a major footballing nation in Africa.

“Nigeria is a big country. Of course, Tunisia is also a football nation, but I think we’ve good players and a good squad to really take it to the next level,” Onuachu said.

“I think there are a lot of strong teams. I am not going to say Saturday’s game with me for the content. Even already coming here, we’ve it in the back of our mind that we’re here to win the AFCON.”

The winner between Nigeria and Tunisia will go top of Group C with six points from two games.
