Morocco and Mali are the latest sides to advance to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations’ round of 16.
The two countries qualified on Monday night, following the completion of Group A matches.
The hosts thrashed Zambia 3-0 in Rabat, with goals coming from Ayoub El Kaabi (brace) and Brahim Diaz.
Mali also booked their place in the next round despite a 0-0 draw with Comoros in Casablanca.

Morocco qualify as group winners and Mali as runners-up.
They will join the quartet of Nigeria, Algeria, South Africa and Egypt as the teams that have reached the Round of 16.
The Round of 16 matches will be played from January 3rd to 6th, 2026.
