Algeria will meet Nigeria in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Fennec Foxes advanced to the next round following a stunning 1-0 win over the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The last-16 match on Tuesday was goalless after 90 minutes and seemed to be going for penalties.

But in the 118th minute of the contest, Adil Boulbina cut in from the left and scored the winner.

The Super Eagles qualified on Monday night, defeating Mozambique 4-0 in Fez.

The quarter-final match between Algeria and Nigeria will take place on Saturday, January 10.

Kickoff is at 5 p.m. local time.
