As the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 progresses, the competition for the Golden Boot is beginning to take shape.

With the Round of 16 almost concluded and margins as close as ever, goals are proving vital, and the scoring charts are led by a typical mix of old stars and developing talents.

Morocco forward Brahim Díaz, is currently the leading joint-top scorer at the AFCON.

The Morocco forward leads the scoring charts with four goals in four matches, continuing his outstanding form on home soil.

His strike against Tanzania in the Round of 16 not only sent the hosts into the quarter-finals but also pushed him clear at the summit of the goal scorers’ table, underlining his importance to Morocco’s title ambitions.

A large group of players are locked on three goals, Ademola Lookman (Nigeria), Ayoub El Kaabi (Morocco), Victor Osimhen (Nigeria).
