The Confederation of African Football (CAF) organised a preparation course for referees chosen for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Referees, assistant referees, video assistant referees (VAR), and technical and physical instructors participated in the exercise, which was held in Cairo, Egypt.
According to CAF, the goal of the preparatory course is to guarantee that officials are as well prepared as possible before the competition begins.

Africa’s soccer governing body announced the selection of 73 officials for the tournament last week.
The list comprises 28 referees, 31 assistant referees, and 14 VAR officials.
Morocco will host the competition from December 21 to January 18, 2025.
