Victor Osimhen has joined the legendary Segun Odegbami on the list of Nigeria’s all-time leading scorers.

This comes after his goal in the Super Eagles’ 1-1 draw against Benin Republic in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification on Thursday night.

Osimhen entered the match in third place, with 22 goals.

However, the 26-year-old, who is now on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, equalized in the 81st minute in Abidjan.

Osimhen currently has 23 goals, the same as Odegbami, and trails behind Rashidi Yekini (37).
