Augustine Eguavoen, the Super Eagles’ caretaker coach, has unveiled his starting lineup for tonight’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification matchday five against the Benin Republic Cheetahs.

Eguavoen fielded a 3-4-3 system against Gernot Rohr’s side.

As predicted, Stanley Nwabali, Chippa United’s shot-stopper, will be in goal.

Captain William Troost-Ekong will man the centre-back alongside the duo of Calvin Bassey and Gabriel Osho, who will be making his debut in the game.

Nottingham Forest defender, Ola Aina and Boavista’s Bruno Onyemaechi will operate as wing-backs.

Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi will take charge of the midfield.

Victor Osimhen will lead the attack and will be supported by Ademola Lookman and Kelechi Iheanacho.
