Cristiano Ronaldo once again proved decisive as Al Nassr secured a comfortable victory over Al Wasl in their AFC Champions League Two quarter-final clash.

The Portuguese forward struck early, scoring in the 11th minute to give his side control. It was a simple but clinical finish after a well-worked move down the right flank.

Kingsley Coman played a key role in the build-up, releasing Nawaf Boushal, whose cutback found Ronaldo unmarked inside the box. The finish was calm and precise.

That early goal shifted momentum firmly in Al Nassr’s favour. With confidence growing, they dictated the tempo and pushed Al Wasl onto the back foot.

The second goal arrived in the 24th minute when Joao Felix delivered a corner that was met by Inigo Martinez, who powered a header into the net.

Just two minutes later, Al Nassr extended their lead again. Another delivery from Felix caused problems, and Abdulelah Al Amri finished to make it three.

At 3-0, the game was effectively decided before halftime. Under Jorge Jesus, Al Nassr maintained control with disciplined and organised play.

Ronaldo was later substituted in the 65th minute, with qualification already secured. His early goal set the tone for a dominant performance and a deserved passage into the semi-finals.
