Nigerian singer-songwriter Aduke has returned to recorded music with her new single, “Aralamo,” marking her first release since 2020.
Released on September 11, 2026, the song explores betrayal, intuition, and the painful realisation that warning signs in a relationship are sometimes overlooked until the truth can no longer be ignored.
Drawing on Afro Neo-Soul, Afro-Jazz, soul, and world music, Aduke continues to blend African rhythms with Yoruba storytelling while reflecting on her experiences between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

Her evolving connection to culture and identity was previously reflected in “Omo Yoruba in London,” a reimagination that explored Yoruba identity, belonging and life in Britain.
According to the singer, the six-year break has allowed her to experience life beyond music and return with fresh perspectives and stories to tell.
“Aralamo” ushers in a new chapter for Aduke, with plans to reconnect with audiences through music and performances in Nigeria, the UK and beyond.
