The Adu Youth Cooperative has congratulated Prince Osborne Nweze Umahi on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) consensus flagbearer for the chairmanship of Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
In a statement jointly signed by the President of the cooperative, Ogbonnaya Ene Odii; the Secretary, Chidi Innocent Onu; and the Publicity Secretary, Prince Nwaevo Nnamdi Nelson, the youth body described the nomination as well-deserved and timely.
The group hailed Ebonyi State Governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Nwifuru, for what it described as a thoughtful and strategic choice, noting that Nweze Umahi possesses the qualities required to deliver effective grassroots governance.
“Adu Youth Cooperative hails His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, on the nomination of Engr. Prince Osborne Nweze, a UK-trained engineer, a God-fearing young man with requisite administrative expertise, urbane, humane and humility personified,” the statement read.
The cooperative also expressed appreciation to the Honourable Minister of Works, Chief Dave Umahi, whom it described as its Grand Patron, for his role in mentoring and supporting the nominee.
“We equally extend our profound gratitude to our Grand Patron, His Excellency, Sen. Engr. Chief Dave Nweze Umahi, the Honourable Minister of Works of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for his continuous support, grooming and mentorship,” the statement added.
Expressing confidence in the nominee’s capacity to deliver, the group said it believes Engr. Nweze will leverage his professional background and youthful energy to advance development in the council area.
“We are confident you will bring your wealth of experiences, capacity, competence and youthful innovations to bear as you pilot the affairs of Ndi Ohaozara.
“Be assured of our unwavering, unfettered and unadulterated support at all times,” the statement concluded.
