Deji Adeyanju, lawyer to social media activist Martins Otse aka VeryDarkMan, has described his client as the most influential Nigerian currently.
He made the claim in a Facebook post on Thursday, after VeryDarkMan interviewed controversial Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew.
The interview sparked widespread reactions online and dominated conversations across social media platforms amid the controversy surrounding the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC), where Adeniyi claims to be Director-General.
The Federal Government has described the PFIPC as ‘fake’ and initiated criminal proceedings against Adeniyi.

Adeyanju said, “Nobody has VDM’s influence currently in Nigeria, both online and offline. The grace upon the young man is uncommon.
“You can only beef but there’s nothing you can do about it.”
VeryDarkMan, known for his outspoken commentary on social and political issues, has built a large following across TikTok, Facebook and Instagram with videos calling out scams, bad governance and social injustice.
