Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, has revealed details of a life-threatening health emergency she had in June while in the United Kingdom with her husband, Banky W, and their two sons.
In a touching Instagram post, the actress disclosed that she underwent an emergency operation that could have cost her life. She described the experience as both horrifying and transformative.
“I could have lost my life in June,” she wrote. ” What I went through was horrific and ended with an unplanned surgery and strangely, the surgery itself was the least dramatic part of it all.”
Adesua explained that the incident occurred while she was in the UK for two speaking engagements.
She credited divine intervention for her survival, noting that every event of that day aligned perfectly to save her life.

“If even one single detail had been different, I wouldn’t be here today. When I think about it, I shudder” she said.
The Sugar Rush actress said the ordeal deepened her faith and renewed her gratitude for life.
“There’s nothing anyone can tell me, God is real,” she declared.
She went on to urge her followers to cherish each day and embody compassion.
“Let’s choose to be softer, kinder, gentler, forgiving, patient, loving, and peaceful. I’ll never take another day for granted, neither should you,” she added.
