Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has called on state officials to accelerate the completion of critical projects, emphasizing the need to avoid distractions in public governance.
At a review meeting with key officials overseeing ongoing projects in several towns, including Ila Orangun, Iwo, Ile Ife, Ilesa, Osogbo, and Ikirun, Adeleke stressed the importance of timely delivery for the benefit of the people.
In a statement from his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke noted, “I have been conducting secret supervisions of many ongoing projects. I am impressed with the performance of our team; I saw their sleepless nights.”

The governor underscored the significance of sustaining the momentum and achieving project completion, asserting, “I want to see the people of Ila Orangun driving on their new dual carriageway. I want Ile Ife, our cradle, to emerge as a brand new city. The people of Iwo are already feeling the wave of modernization.”
Acknowledging the progress in Osogbo as a noteworthy achievement, Adeleke cautioned against complacency. “We must not rest. We should not give our detractors any breathing space. Our answers to their shenanigans must be more delivery of democratic dividends,” he said.
He further directed his team to be proactive, insisting that all contractors must expedite their work. “Osun people have strong faith in us. We won’t allow any contractor to dash or slow down the hope of our people,” he warned.
