Adeleke inaugurates 52-member campaign council for re-election

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, yesterday inaugurated 52-member campaign council for his re-election, naming Senator Lere Oyewumi, representing Osun West, as the Director General.

He also announced the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, as the Deputy Director General.

Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Sunday Bisi, was announced as advisor, while the governor’s sister, Dupe Adeleke Sanni, was announced as chairman committee on market women, artisans and support group mobilisation.

His nephew, David Adeleke (Davido), was announced as chairman, youth mobilisation.

Speaking at the inauguration, Adeleke said he was already feeling the cloud of victory around him, his team and his political party, the Accord.

“I am feeling the victory, the defeat of our opponents. This team is heading to victory. My spirit confirms our party, the Accord, is declared winner with wide margins.

“This is how we started in 2022. Today is the march to victory on August 15th. I hereby inaugurate this Campaign Council to the service of continuity and delivery of good governance”, the governor told party members amidst singing and dancing,” Adeleke said.

The DG campaign council, Senator Oyewumi disclosed that there would be committee to manage every wards and units for the campaign.
