Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has directed an immediate and urgent review of a road allegedly washed away by erosion a week after construction.

Residents of Aduragbemi Community, Ido-Osun in Egbedore Local Government of the state, had protested against poor construction of road in the community, alleging that the first rain after some days that the road was constructed, washed it away.

However, in a statement by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, on Sunday, Adeleke directed the team to report back on Monday, after their examination.

The statement noted that top officials from the Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Works and O-RAMP Project have visited the community for on the spot assessment, interaction with the community and to deliver the message of the governor.
