It was all fun, networking and enlightenment amidst winning at this year’s edition of Metro and Castle industry gathering, tagged Metro Realtor’s Hangout 4.0 hosted by Dr Adekunle Abdul, one of Nigeria’s leading real estate magnates and Chairman, Abdul Metro Group.

The annual event, held at Metro and Castle Estate along Lekki-Epe Expressway, was organized by the Abdul’s company to reappraise all efforts of realtors who have been actively involved in sales of properties in the year ending and also open a channel for realtors and potential buyers alike by introducing them to affordable luxury residential homes and apartments with flexible payment methods.
Stakeholders in the industry including representatives of Stanbic IBTC and Leadway Assurance witnessed the day and they shared valuable insights about the workable plans on how to be a house owner or as a realtor who wants to market for a potential buyer. There were also legal experts who spoke on formalities on how to authenticate the true state of landed properties or estates in order not to run afoul of government laws when dealing with customers. They participants were also enlightened on the government’s new tax regime —a national discourse which has put many on edge— which takes effect from February 2026.
Abdul reiterated that his company is not just a real estate brand that builds and sells houses but a community development establishment that makes provisions for all amenities that makes a standard community: security, supermarkets, recreational centres, hospital and everything needed to live an affordable and luxurious life are readily available. Gifts were later presented to realtors that stood-out in the year with promises to make it bigger next year.
