The newly-appointed Chief of Staff to the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Naheem Adegoke has formally accepted his appointment and pledged unwavering commitment to supporting the administration’s vision for Nigerian students.
In a letter of acceptance addressed to the NANS National President, Adegoke expressed profound gratitude for the confidence reposed in him, describing the appointment as a great honor and privilege.
According to him, the opportunity to serve in such a strategic capacity comes with enormous responsibility, which he is prepared to discharge with dedication, loyalty, and diligence.
“I am deeply humbled by the trust you have placed in my capacity to serve. I do not take this opportunity for granted, and I recognize the enormous responsibility that comes with the office,” he stated.
The new CoS assured the leadership of the association of his readiness to contribute meaningfully toward the realization of the administration’s objectives, particularly in the areas of students’ welfare, effective coordination, and the advancement of the collective interests of Nigerian students.

He further pledged to uphold the values of accountability, excellence, unity, and efficient administration while ensuring that the Office of the Chief of Staff serves as a platform for productive engagement between stakeholders within the student movement.
Adegoke noted that he would work closely with the NANS President and other officers of the association to strengthen the organization’s operations and enhance its capacity to address issues affecting students across the country.
The appointment has been welcomed by members of the student body, who expressed optimism that his experience and commitment to the ideals of student unionism would contribute positively to the administration’s agenda.
